Our Mission

According to Shastra our mission is: Self-Realization: To realize we are not these material bodies but eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of Krishna. Back to Godhead: To end the cycle of birth and death (saṁsāra) and return to our original home in the spiritual world. Devotional Service: To engage our senses in the service of the Lord (bhakti-yoga), specifically through the Sankirtana movement (chanting Hare Krishna) as taught by Lord Chaitanya. Samsiddhir Hari-tosanam: To perform our occupational duties in a way that satisfies the Supreme Lord (SB 1.2.13).

primary reasons why worship Radha Krishna:

1. The Energy and the Energetic Prabhupada explains that Radha and Krishna are one and the same, but they have taken two forms for the sake of enjoying transcendental pastimes (rasa). Krishna is the "Energetic" (shaktiman). Radharani is the "Energy" (shakti), specifically the Hladini-shakti or pleasure-giving potency. Just as there is no meaning to "fire" without "heat," or "sun" without "sunshine," there is no meaning to Krishna without Radha. Worshiping them together is worshiping the Absolute Truth in its complete, unified form.
2. Approaching Krishna Through His Mercy Prabhupada often said that Krishna is very difficult to approach directly because He is the Supreme Judge and the Master of all. However, Srimati Radharani is the personification of Krishna's compassion. "Radharani is the tenderhearted female counterpart of Krishna. If you can please Radharani, She will recommend you to Krishna, and Krishna cannot refuse Her."
